When they checked into the new room there was mouldy food in the fridge, the reception staff are so unhelpful they just don’t care about anything - they promise to resolve the problem ie the shower and nothing is done, the rooms aren’t very clean either, I lost an earring in the room so was hunting for it, everywhere was full of dust and I found a personalised poker chip from last month under the bed side table so it obviously hadn’t been moved to vacuum, check in is just so awful they won’t let you speak to a human they want you to use the check in machines all I wanted to ask was that our son was on the same floor as us 😞 there’s no respect for loyalty so from now on we will stay elsewhere for our yearly visit which is a shame as the last 2 years and several years before covid we’ve always stayed at the Flamingo More rooms & we lost a whole day messing about. Not as good as previous visits, will stay elsewhere next year, our friends had a bit of a nightmare they had to move rooms as for 3 days they complained the shower wasn’t working and no one fixed it, eventually the staff let them change.

Unfortunately, next time we come we will be trying a different resort! More I love the location of the Flamingo, but feel as if the customer service is lacking and we are nickeled and dimed at every corner (resort fee, early check-in, $14 for internet on over 2 devices, etc.). The room was fine, but the air was VERY loud every time it went on which seemed to be constant! The carpet in the hallway bubbled in the middle all the way from the elevator to our room. Not having someone to welcome you and briefly explain things just takes the personal touch out of the hotel experience and makes customer service seem very lacking. The kiosks are super annoying because it only gives you 10 seconds to read the screen before it displays a message asking if you want to continue.obviously doesn't want you to read all the details. You wait in a long line only to have to self check-in at one of. Boy, has it gone downhill! The check-in process is laughable. We stayed here about 15 years ago and loved it, which is why we didn't hesitate to stay here again.
